Rooms that sell themselvesin twenty seconds

Short vertical films for hotels, villas and guesthouses. Shot, graded and handed over before I check out.

Boutique hotels, villas, guesthouses and the operators who run the things worth doing nearby. One person, one camera, editing done on site.

The arrangement

What it costs you

Most of my work is a straight trade. You cover the room and the table, I cover everything else. A paid rate is available instead if that is simpler for your accounting, and the deliverable does not change either way.

You provide

Four to six nights

  • A room you would not otherwise have sold
  • Breakfast, and a table in the restaurant if it is worth filming
  • Three short access windows: your best suite before it is turned, the pool or terrace at golden hour, the restaurant before service
  • One named contact who can unlock a door and switch lights on
  • Airport or local transfers, where you can arrange them

You receive

In your hands before I check out

  • One hero film, 20 to 30 seconds
  • Two further films to post in the weeks after
  • Ten to twelve graded stills, shot as photographs rather than pulled from the video
  • Vertical for Reels, TikTok and Stories, plus a 16:9 cut for your site
  • Unrestricted commercial use, in perpetuity, no credit required

Recent work

Three properties, one grade

A country villa, a waterfront apartment and a city flat. Different buildings, different light, the same finish — which is the part that matters if you are handing a stranger your brand.

Frames

The stills come free

I shoot stills properly alongside the video rather than pulling frames out of it, then grade them to match the films. Your booking gallery and your Reels finally look like the same property, from one visit.

Method

Why it doesn't look like a phone

Most property video fails after the shoot, not during it. Flat, cool, slightly dim footage reads as amateur however steady the camera was.

Capture
4K 60p, wide primes, natural light only. No flash and no fisheye bending your straight walls.
Motion
Two-pass stabilisation, then 60p conformed to 30p so every frame carries. Slow motion that glides rather than stutters.
Balance
Every clip is measured and corrected onto a common black point, white point and neutral before any look is applied. This is why nothing in a set reads dim or blown next to its neighbour.
Grade
A film look with real highlight rolloff and a lifted toe, built separately for interiors and exteriors so white walls stay white while water and planting hold colour.
Sound
Licensed tracks through an Epidemic Sound subscription, cut to the edit. Nothing that will get your post muted.
Delivery
1080 by 1920 vertical, a 16:9 cutdown, and matched stills. Cut and graded on site, handed over before I check out, so there is nothing to chase once I have gone.
